COUNCILWOMAN KRISTY MARMORATO

A CHAMPION FOR DISTRICT 13

Councilwoman Kristy Marmorato was born, raised, and educated right here in the Bronx, and she continues to proudly serve the community she calls home. From her upbringing in Throggs Neck to her time living in Pelham Bay and Country Club, and now as a resident of Morris Park, Kristy’s deep roots in District 13 reflect her unwavering commitment to the people and neighborhoods she represents.

Kristy is not only a dedicated public servant but also a wife, mother, and accomplished healthcare professional. She now brings that same focus and problem-solving skill to her role as Councilwoman.

​

In less than 2 years, Councilwoman Marmorato's Accomplishments Include:

​

  • Secured $200 million for district-wide sewage and draining infrastructure, $50 million for parks including upgrades to Loreto Playground, Waterbury Park, Brady Playground, and the Pelham Bay ball fields and proudly funded and secured nearly $10 million for our schools

​

  • Delivering Pre-K 4 seats for PS 175 and PS 108, $2.3M for STEM labs, hydroponic classrooms, sensory rooms, tech upgrades, and school security enhancements, and $4M for a renovations of the City Island Library.

​​

  • Supporting our NYPD by securing $12M for the 45th & 49th Precincts, shutting down 20+ illegal smoke shops, and partnering with NYPD and Harbor Patrol to reduce noise on land and water — including installing cameras at Ferry Point Park to deter illegal activity and keep neighborhoods safe.

​

  • Passed legislation to fully recognize and honor our Vietnam Veterans in NYC, proudly funded our Throggs Neck Veterans’ Day Parade & Breakfast, and hosted permanent services in district office for our Veterans

​

  • Distributed 10,000 + meals and food packages to families in need and continues supporting local food pantries.

​​

As Councilwoman, Kristy doesn’t just listen—she acts. With a proven track record of solving problems and delivering results, she is the advocate District 13 needs to tackle today’s challenges and build a brighter future!
